Item 1.01 Entry Into a Material Definitive Agreement
Effective April 26, 2017, Red Trail Energy, LLC (the "Company") entered into an amendment to an employment agreement with the Company's chief executive officer, Gerald Bachmeier (the "Amendment"). The Amendment extends the term of the employment agreement until December 31, 2022. Mr. Bachmeier has the option to further extend the employment agreement until December 31, 2023. The Amendment increases Mr. Bachmeier's base salary to $215,000 for 2018 and allows for $5,000 per year increases thereafter. All of the other terms of Mr. Bachmeier's employment agreement remain the same.
