On February 7, 2013 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), REVA Medical, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a letter from the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Stockman, to stockholders (the “Letter”) with the Australian Securities Exchange to provide an update of the Company’s operations, clinical trial program, market developments, and upcoming events. A copy of the Letter is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
In accordance with General Instruction B.2. of Form 8-K, the information under this Item 7.01, including Exhibit 99.1, is furnished pursuant to Item 7.01 and shall not be deemed to be “filed” for the purpose of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, except as expressly set forth in such filing.
