On August 27, 2015, a person purporting to represent a class of persons who purchased securities of The Spectranetics Corporation (the “Company”) between February 19, 2015 and July 23, 2015 filed a lawsuit against the Company and certain of its officers in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. The lawsuit alleges that certain of the Company’s public statements concerning its projected revenue for 2015 were false and misleading and asserts claims under Sections 10(b) and 20 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
The Company believes that the lawsuit is without merit and intends to defend itself vigorously.
