Westmoreland Coal Company, a Delaware corporation (“Westmoreland”), previously disclosed various transactions related to the purchase of certain ownership interests in Oxford Resources GP, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and the contribution of certain assets by Westmoreland to Oxford Resource Partners LP, a Delaware limited partnership (collectively, the “Oxford Transactions”), on Westmoreland’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed on October 16, 2014.
In association with the Oxford Transactions, on October 16, 2014, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Westmoreland hosted a conference call with investors to discuss various business updates. The conference call was made available to the public via conference call and webcast. The transcript of the conference call is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. A presentation providing an overview of the Oxford Transactions is attached as Exhibit 99.2.
