ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT
OF SUBORDINATED NOTES OFFERING
GLASTONBURY, Conn., September 17, 2014 United Financial Bancorp, Inc. (United Financial or the Company) (NASDAQ Global Select Market: UBNK), the holding company for United Bank (the Bank), today announced that it has commenced a public offering of $75,000,000 of its subordinated notes due October 1, 2024 (the Notes).
United Financial plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
Sandler ONeill + Partners, L.P. (Sandler ONeill) is the sole manager for the subordinated notes offering.
The Notes will be offered and sold pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement (File No. 333-198466), the base prospectus included in the registration statement, and a preliminary prospectus supplement relating to the offering of the Notes filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC), and a final prospectus supplement to be filed with the SEC.
