Item 8.01.  Other Events

On September 2, 2014 MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc., through its subsidiaries, completed the acquisition of all of the outstanding shares of Vetspace Limited, Planet Software Limited and Vetspace Inc. (collectively “Vetspace”).  Vetspace is a provider of practice management software to veterinary practices, principally in the United Kingdom.  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
