On April 23, 2013, Philippe O. Chambon notified NxStage Medical, Inc. (the “Company”) that he was resigning from the Company’s Board of Directors effective immediately. Dr. Chambon indicated his decision is not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
