HOME BANCORP ANNOUNCES APPROVAL OF STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM
Lafayette, Louisiana Home Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: HBCP) (the Company), the parent company for Home Bank (www.home24bank.com), a Federally chartered savings bank headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana (the Bank), announced that its Board of Directors approved a new program to repurchase up to 402,835 shares, or approximately 5%, of the Companys outstanding common stock. Repurchases may be made by the Company in open-market or privately-negotiated transactions as, in the opinion of management, market conditions warrant.
The Company recently completed a previously announced repurchase program (the July 2010 program). Under the July 2010 program, the Company acquired 424,027 shares of the Companys common stock at an average price of $13.56 per share.
