*                 First quarter 2009 results include goodwill and intangible asset impairment charges totaling $856.7 million, or $5.21 loss per diluted share.  The intangible asset impairment charge has an associated non-cash tax benefit of $40.6 million.

First quarter 2010 revenues of $246.9 million decreased 1.5% from the previous quarter due to lower separate account performance fees, partially offset by an increase from higher average assets under management.  Operating expenses increased $4.7 million, or 2.7%, primarily as a result of higher long-term incentive compensation, asset-based distribution expenses and certain administrative expenses.
