Thoma Bravo Completes Imperva Acquisition
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.(BUSINESS WIRE) January 10, 2019 Imperva, Inc. a cybersecurity leader that delivers best-in-class solutions to protect data and applications on-premises, in the cloud, and across hybrid environments, today announced the completion of its acquisition by Thoma Bravo, LLC, a leading private equity investment firm. This acquisition was announced on October 10, 2018, received approval from Impervas shareholders on January 8, 2019, and closed effective today.
Under the terms of the transaction, Impervas stockholders received $55.75 per share in cash. As a result of the completion of the acquisition, Impervas common stock was removed from listing on the Nasdaq Global Market, with trading in Impervas shares halted before the opening of the market today.
