Effective January 29, 2018, Johan J. Roets ceased serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Intersections Inc. (the “Company”).
Effective January 29, 2018, the Company’s Board of Directors has appointed Michael R. Stanfield, the Chairman and Founder of the Company, as the Company’s Executive Chairman and President, pursuant to which he has assumed the duties as the principal executive officer of the Company. Mr. Stanfield co-founded the predecessor to the Company in 1996 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since that time, and was previously the Chief Executive Officer until January 2017. Additional information regarding Mr. Stanfield and his business experience and positions with the Company can be found in the Company’s Definitive Proxy Statement, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 21, 2017.
