Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Effective August 9, 2017 the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh ("Bank") elected Teresa Bryce Bazemore, retired President of Radian Guaranty, Inc. to fill its vacant Independent Director position. Ms. Bazemore was elected to serve the remainder of former Independent Director Brian A. Hudson’s term which expires on December 31, 2020.

The Bank’s Board elected Ms. Bazemore in accordance with the rules of the Federal Housing Finance Agency to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the term. Ms. Bazemore will serve on the Affordable Housing, Products & Services and Audit Committees of the Board and will be compensated in accordance with the Bank’s 2017 Directors’ Compensation Policy.
