Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 3, 2016, RELM Wireless Corporation (the “Company”) announced its financial and operating results for the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016 in the press release furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.

On August 2, 2016, the Board of Directors of the Company approved a quarterly dividend of $0.09 per share of the Company’s common stock, payable on September 16, 2016 to shareholders of record of the Company’s common stock as of the close of business on September 1, 2016.
