On January 25, 2016, Precision Castparts Corp., together with Berkshire Hathaway Inc. ("Berkshire"), announced that it expects to close its previously announced acquisition by Berkshire on January 29, 2016. The appropriate waiting periods (including extensions thereof) have expired or been terminated and the appropriate clearances or approvals have been granted (or deemed granted in accordance with relevant law) in the necessary jurisdictions. A copy of the joint press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein.
