Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On April 8, 2015, Patrick J. Moore, notified Rentech, Inc. (the “Company”) of his intention to resign from the Company’s Board of Directors effective April 13, 2015. Mr. Moore was one of the two directors on the Company’s Board that the holders of the Series E Convertible Preferred Stock are entitled to elect. Mr. Moore’s seat shall remain vacant until such time as the holders of the Series E Convertible Preferred Stock elect an individual to fill his vacancy.
