On March 11, 2015, First Defiance Financial Corp. (“FDEF”) repurchased in full from the United States Department of the Treasury (“Treasury”) the warrant to purchase 550,595 shares of FDEF’s common stock (“Warrant”) that was issued to FDEF pursuant to the Treasury’s TARP Capital Purchase Program. The purchase price paid by FDEF to the Treasury for the Warrant was $11,979,295. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.
