Item 7.01. Regulation FD
On August 12, 2014, PennEast Pipeline Company, LLC (“PennEast”) announced plans to construct a 100-mile pipeline intended to bring natural gas produced in the Marcellus Shale region to homes and businesses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in a press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein. On the same date, New Jersey Resources Corporation (“NJR”) also published an Investor Fact Sheet, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated by reference herein. PennEast is a joint project of NJR Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of NJR, AGL Resources, South Jersey Industries and UGI Energy Services, a subsidiary of UGI Corporation.
