Item 8.01 Other Information.
On May 20, 2014, Discovery Communications, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors had declared a special dividend of shares of the Company’s Series C common stock payable on the Company’s Series A common stock, Series B common stock and Series C common stock. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
