Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PGNX) today sold 1,141,304 additional primary shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $4.60 per share pursuant to the exercise in full of the overallotment option granted to the underwriters in the Company’s February 26th public offering of 7,608,696 common shares. Net proceeds from the exercise were approximately $4.9 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions. Jefferies LLC acted as sole book-running manager and as representative of co-managers Needham & Company, LLC and Brean Capital, LLC. The offering was made under the Company’s $150 million shelf registration statement, including a February 21st prospectus supplement.
