Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On October 31, 2013, Magellan Petroleum Corporation (the "Company") made available to its shareholders its fiscal year 2013 annual report (the "2013 Annual Report"), which includes a CEO's Letter to Shareholders (the "CEO's Letter") dated October 31, 2013, from J. Thomas Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, in the front cover section, the Company's previously filed Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2013, and certain corporate and other information about the Company in the back cover section. A copy of the CEO's Letter and the other materials constituting the front and back cover sections of the 2013 Annual Report is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1. These materials have also been posted to the Company's website at www.magellanpetroleum.com.
