Item 8.01 | Other Events. |
On June 27, 2013, MPG Office Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) issued 110,000 shares of its common stock in exchange for the same number of operating partnership units in response to notices of redemption from Robert F. Maguire III and related entities. As a result of the redemption, Robert F. Maguire III and related entities no longer hold a position in the operating partnership of the Company. The Company now owns 99.96% of MPG Office, L.P., its Operating Partnership.
A copy of a press release dated June 27, 2013 is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 herewith.
