(b) On April 17, 2013, Jon F. Rager notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Ixia (the “Company”) that he will retire as a director of the Company effective as of the date of the Company’s 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which is expected to be held on June 19, 2013. Mr. Rager, who is 73 years old, has served on the Board since May 1997.
