Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 4, 2013, QLT Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had completed the sale of its punctal plug drug delivery system technology to Mati Therapeutics Inc., a development company founded by Robert Butchofsky, QLT’s former President & CEO. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
