On February 28, 2013, Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing financial and operating results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2012 and other business updates. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
