Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 4, 2012, Philip G. Malone notified GeoMet, Inc. (the “Company”) that he was resigning as Senior Vice President of Exploration for personal reasons but that he would remain an employee of the Company as an advisor to senior management and as Manager of Geology. Mr. Malone will continue to serve as a Director of the Company.
