On September 20, 2011, M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. announced that it will redeem all of its outstanding 7.0% Senior Notes due 2012, which total $86.3 million, on October 19, 2011. A copy of the press release dated September 20, 2011 related to the announcement of the redemption is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
