On January 14, 2011, Oconee Federal Financial Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company completed its stock offering on January 13, 2011. The Company sold 2,094,840 shares in the offering. In addition, the Company issued 4,127,470 shares to Oconee Federal, MHC. The Company’s shares commenced trading on January 14, 2011 on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “OFED.”
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
