Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Resignation of Interested Director

On June 11, 2021, Michael J. Levitt notified the Board of Directors of Kayne Anderson NextGen Energy & Infrastructure, Inc. (the “Fund”) of his decision to resign, effective immediately, from his position as an interested director of the Fund.

Mr. Levitt’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Fund on any matter relating to the Fund’s operations, policies or practices.
