Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.

 

On June 1, 2021 (the “Effective Date”), Silo Pharma, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into a sponsored research agreement (the “Agreement”) with The Regents of the University of California, on behalf of its San Francisco Campus (“UCSF”) pursuant to which UCSF shall conduct a study to examine psilocybin’s effect on inflammatory activity in humans to accelerate its implementation as a potential treatment for Parkinson’s Disease, chronic pain, and bipolar disorder. Pursuant to the Agreement, the Company shall pay UCSF a fee in the mid six digit figures to conduct the research. The Agreement shall be effective for a period of two years from the Effective Date, subject to renewal or earlier termination as set forth in the Agreement.
