On October 26, 2020, Turning Point Therapeutics, Inc. (the Company) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the
SEC) a preliminary prospectus supplement (the Preliminary Prospectus) pursuant to Rule 424(b) under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, relating to its Registration Statement on Form S-3ASR (File No. 333-238300) filed with the SEC on May 15, 2020, in connection with a proposed public offering. In the Preliminary Prospectus, the Company disclosed that it
had approximately $711.4 million of cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities as of September 30, 2020 and that, after giving effect to an assumed issuance and sale of $400.0 million of shares in the proposed public offering
and after deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company, the Company would have had approximately $1,088.4 million of cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities as of
September 30, 2020. These amounts are unaudited and do not present all information necessary for an understanding of the Companys financial condition as of September 30, 2020. The review of the Companys financial statements for
the quarter ended September 30, 2020 is ongoing and could result in changes to these amounts.
