Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
It is with great sadness that American International Holdings Corp. (the “Company”), announces the death of Everett Bassie, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bassie died suddenly on May 31, 2020. Mr. Bassie’s faithful and loyal service as Chief Financial Officer and dear friend of the Company will be greatly missed. The Company provides its sincere condolences to Mr. Bassie’s family.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
The Company also reports that due to the untimely passing of Mr. Bassie, filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2019 may be delayed, as Mr. Bassie served as the principal accounting and financial officer of the Company.
