Item 5.07. Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders.

 

The 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”) of First Community Corporation (the “Company”) was held on May 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Company’s principal executive office located at 5455 Sunset Boulevard, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. Of the 7,462,247 shares of the Company’s common stock outstanding at the Annual Meeting, there were present in person or by proxy 5,425,886 shares, representing approximately 72.71% of the total outstanding eligible votes. At the Annual Meeting, the shareholders of the Company: (1) elected four Class II members to the Company’s Board of Directors to serve a term expiring in 2023; (2) approved an advisory resolution to approve the compensation of the Company’s named executive officers; and (3) ratified the appointment of Elliott Davis, LLC as the Company’s independent registered public accountants for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020.

 

The final results of voting on each of the matters submitted to a vote of shareholders during the Annual Meeting are as follows:

 

1.       To elect four Class II members of the Board of Directors to serve a three-year term expiring at the 2023 annual meeting of shareholders or until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified:
