Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On May 12, 2020, Paul J. Isaac notified the Chairman of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Capital Senior Living Corporation (the “Company”) of his decision to resign, effective immediately, from his position as a member of the Board. Mr. Isaac resigned in order to focus his time and attention on other commitments and his resignation did not result from any disagreements with management or the Board. The Company is very appreciative of Mr. Isaac for his several years of service as a director and many contributions to the Company and wishes Mr. Isaac the best in his future endeavors.
