Item 8.01  Other Events.

The Red Building Mortgage Loan, an asset of Citigroup Commercial Mortgage Trust 2018-B2 (the “Issuing Entity”), is being serviced pursuant to the pooling and servicing agreement, dated as of February 1, 2018 (the “BMARK 2018-B2 PSA”), between J.P. Morgan Chase Commercial Mortgage Securities Corp., as depositor, KeyBank National Association, as master servicer, CWCapital Asset Management LLC, as special servicer, Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, as certificate administrator and trustee, and Pentalpha Surveillance LLC, as operating advisor and as asset representations reviewer, which governs the issuance of the Benchmark 2018-B2 Mortgage Trust, Commercial Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates, Series 2018-B2. The BMARK 2018-B2 PSA was filed as Exhibit 4.3 to the Current Report on Form 8-K with respect to the Issuing Entity, dated March 20, 2018 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 20, 2018 under Commission File No. 333-207132-16.

Effective as of May 14, 2020, CWCapital Asset Management LLC has been removed as special servicer under the BMARK 2018-B2 PSA with respect to the Red Building Loan Combination, and BREF Partners Special Servicer LLC has been appointed to act as successor special servicer with respect to the Red Building Loan Combination under the BMARK 2018-B2 PSA. A copy of the related assumption of special servicer obligations dated May 14, 2020 is attached hereto as Exhibit 20.1.

Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Pooling and Servicing Agreement dated as of March 1, 2018 relating to the Issuing Entity, filed as Exhibit 4.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K with respect to the Issuing Entity, dated March 20, 2018 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 20, 2018 under Commission File No. 333-207132-16.
