Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 5, 2020, BancPlus Corporation ("the Registrant") issued a press release announcing the Board of Directors of the Registrant declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.35 per share of common stock. The cash dividend will be paid on June 15, 2020 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 29, 2020. The press release is attached to this report at Exhibit 99.1, which is incorporated herein by reference.
