Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On January 6, 2020, Daniel J. O’Connor, President, CEO and Director of OncoSec Medical Incorporated (“OncoSec” or the “Company”), issued a letter to shareholders and related press release highlighting both leading independent proxy advisory firms, ISS and Glass Lewis, have recommended OncoSec shareholders vote FOR the proposed strategic transaction with Grand Decade Developments Limited, a British Virgin Islands limited company and a wholly owned subsidiary of China Grand Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Holdings Limited and its U.S. affiliate, Sirtex Medical US Holdings, Inc. on the WHITE proxy card at the upcoming special meeting of stockholders of the Company scheduled to be held on January 17, 2020.

 

A copy of the press release that includes the letter to OncoSec shareholders is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
