Item 8.01 Other Events

 

On December 23, 2019, Mateon Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release “Mateon Therapeutics Announces Positive Clinical Study Results for Its Lead Anti-Leukemia Drug Combretastatin A1 Plus Cytarabine in Adult Patients with Relapsed Acute Myeloid Leukemia”. On December 27, 201, Company issued a follow up press release on its new publication of the same in Cancers “A Phase 1B Clinical Study of Combretastatin A1 Diphosphate (OXi4503) and Cytarabine (ARA-C) in Combination (OXA) for Patients with Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia”. Copies of the press releases are attached as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
