Item 8.01
Other Events

As previously reported, on November 25, 2019, The Dayton Power and Light Company (“DP&L”), the principal subsidiary of DPL Inc. (“DPL”), made filings with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (“PUCO”) exercising DP&L’s statutory rights to withdraw its third electric security plan (“ESP 3”) and proposing replacement rates (“ESP 1 Rates”), including a rate stabilization charge (“RSC”), consistent with DP&L’s most recent standard service offer approved by the PUCO in 2016 based on DP&L’s first electric security plan. On December 18, 2019, the PUCO issued a Finding and Order (the “PUCO Order”) partially approving DP&L’s ESP 1 Rates proposal, including authorizing the collection of an RSC in the expected amount of approximately $75-80 million per year. DP&L expects replacement ESP 1 Rates based on the PUCO Order to be in effect by December 20, 2019.

DP&L’s ESP 3 docket, which includes a copy of the PUCO Order, is available at the website of the PUCO at www.puco.ohio.gov (the “PUCO Website”) by searching Case No. 16-0395-EL-SSO, and DP&L’s ESP 1 Rates docket also is available at the PUCO Website by searching Case No. 08-1094-EL-SSO. The information on the PUCO Website is not incorporated herein.
