On November 21, 2018, Progress Energy completed a Quarterly Report to Holders of Contingent Value Obligations for the Quarter Ended September 30, 2018 (the "CVO Report"). A copy of the CVO Report is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1, which is incorporated by reference into this Item 7.01.
