Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On May 22, 2018, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("FHLBNY") was informed that FHLBNY Member Director Monte Redman retired from the board of directors of FHLBNY member Sterling National Bank effective May 22, 2018, and that, since FHLBNY Member Directors are required by regulation to be directors or officers of FHLBNY members, Mr. Redman also resigned from the FHLBNY’s Board of Directors effective May 22, 2018.
