Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 20, 2018, Heat Biologics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has received a recommendation by the Independent Data Monitoring Committee to continue patient enrollment of its ongoing Phase 2 Clinical Trial for HS-110 and nivolumab for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
