Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

 

(d)    Election of Director

 

Effective January 17, 2018, Timothy C. Crew, Lannett Company, Inc.’s (“Lannett or the Company”) chief executive officer, has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors in order to fill a newly created vacancy as a result of the Board of Directors increasing the size of the board from six to seven members.

 

Earlier this month, Crew joined Lannett as CEO.  He has more than 25 years of experience in the generic and branded pharmaceutical industries, having served in leadership positions with Cipla North America, a global pharmaceutical company based in Mumbai, India, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Bristol-Myers Squibb.  Prior to his pharmaceutical roles, Crew served in the United States Army, where he rose to the rank of Captain.  Crew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Pomona College and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School.
