Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 4, 2018, Foundation Building Materials, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release addressing the Company's preliminary estimate of the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed by President Trump on December 22, 2017, on the Company's tax receivable agreement liability. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
