CHARLES RIVER ASSOCIATES (CRA) INCREASES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND 21% FROM $0.14 TO $0.17 PER SHARE

 

BOSTON, October 26, 2017 — Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing economic, financial and management consulting services, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared an increased quarterly cash dividend of $0.17 per share to be paid on December 15, 2017 to shareholders of record of CRA’s common stock as of the close of business on November 28, 2017.

 

“We are pleased to announce this 21% increase as we mark the anniversary of CRA’s first quarterly cash dividend payment,” said Paul Maleh, CRA’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Over the past twelve months, CRA has returned $24.2 million of capital to its shareholders, consisting of $4.7 million of dividends and $19.5 million of share repurchases. The increase in our quarterly dividend payment reflects the Board’s confidence in CRA’s long-term outlook and financial position, and demonstrates our continued commitment to returning capital to our shareholders.”

 

The Company expects to continue paying quarterly dividends, the declaration, timing and amounts of which remain subject to the discretion of CRA’s Board of Directors.
