Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On June 19, 2017, Neos Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing the approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of Cotempla XR-ODT (methylphenidate extended-release orally disintegrating tablet) for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in patients 6 to 17 years old. The Company expects to commence the commercialization of Cotempla XR-ODT in the fall of 2017. A copy of the Press Release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
