Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On June 9, 2017, our Chief Commercial Officer, Stephen Cotton, resigned from his employment with Aqua Metals, Inc. We expect that Mr. Cotton will provide consulting services to the Company through at least the end of 2017. Aqua Metals established key strategic relationships during Mr. Cotton’s tenure and is now entering the next phase of development, focusing on physical deployment through expansion and addition of its own facilities and execution of the Johnson Controls licensing agreement. As of the date of this report, we do not intend to appoint a new Chief Commercial Officer.
