ITEM 2.01 COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OR DISPOSITION OF ASSETS
On May 11, 2017, Ashford Hospitality Prime, Inc. (the “Company”) completed the acquisition of the 80-room Hotel Yountville in Yountville, California for $96.5 million ($1,200,000 per key), which was previously announced on March 1, 2017. The property will be managed by Remington Lodging and Hospitality LLC.
ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On May 11, 2017, the Company issued a press release announcing the closing of the acquisition of the Hotel Yountville, as further described in this Current Report on Form 8-K. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
