Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On May 5, 2017, Hardinge Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s first quarter 2017 financial results. Copies of the press release and the presentation slides used in connection with the Company’s earnings conference call and webcast on May 5, 2017 are respectively included as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. On May 3, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Company declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on June 9, 2017 to stockholders of record as of May 31, 2017.
