Item 8.01 Other Events.
Each quarter the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the "Bank") will issue a ‘Letter from the CEO’ (the "Letter") to the Bank’s members. A copy of the Letter for the first quarter of 2017 issued on May 3, 2017 is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
