Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 8, 2017, Stone Energy Corporation (“Stone”) issued a press release announcing the auction results for the sale of approximately 86,000 net acres in the Appalachia regions of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
